Our Lodge accommodates 32 people in our spacious thatched chalets and A-Frames which provide comfort and traditional Zambian life style and hospitality. In this very special and scenic location this will be a once in a liftime experience

The camp is located only 80 km upstream from The famous Victoria Falls and only 15 km from Chobe National Park, Botswana

Mambova Lodge and Fishing Camp is the ultimate destination where true African hospitality can be experienced. The chalets have a spectacular view on a Zambezi river arm and the island across. You will enjoy the tranquility & relaxation of it's location.

Fishing and Activity rates:

 Fishing Rates-


  •  $ US85 per person per full day for minimum of 2 people per boat includiing fishing guide, includes 20 Liters per boat per day,fishing tackle (excluding fly-fishing tackle) & Community development levy. (supplement for one person).

Rates exclude:

  • Extra fuel, broken / lost fishing tackle & unexpected government levy, insurances, gratitude's, visas, medical evacuation, limited liability. 

Bird Viewing rates-
  • Walking $US 50 per day per persnon including guide. Bird Viewing via Boat same charges will apply as per fishing, but boats can be hired on half day or hourly basis for bird viewing.


Main area of focus is supporting local people & villages
The chalets at the lodge are built by local people and local materials are used like timber, wood and thatch for the construction.

Staff are trained and employed at the lodge.

Vegetables are bought locally

A clinic has been built and is supported by Mambova Lodge Owners
